  • East Coast retail asphalt pricing was flat or firmer this week, with flux pricing holding steady.
  • Wholesale asphalt and flux barge pricing on the East Coast remains unchanged for the week.
  • The Midwest barge market reported sales, with the assessed range narrowing. July rail sales were limited, with the selling range narrowed.  August supply is under negotiation. Flux prices were steady.
  • Midwest rack posted prices and assessed selling ranges were flat.
  • Gulf Coast rack asphalt and flux prices had no reported changes, with assessments flat for the week.
  • Wholesale asphalt and flux pricing on the Gulf Coast was unchanged, with assessments steadfast.
  • Asphalt prices were steady in the Rocky Mountain region. Paving was ongoing in dry weather.
  • Rockies wholesale prices were unchanged for July, with August supply coming up for negotiation.
  • West Coast markets were steady for both Pacific Northwest and California locations.
  • Western Canada retail and wholesale asphalt markets had no price changes.
  • In eastern Canada, both Quebec and Ontario markets are assessed steady for the week.
  • Oil prices were mixed for benchmark grades this week. Brent and WTI crude moved up, but WCS crude prices declined.
