  • Retail asphalt prices were up in some East Coast locations, with flux prices unchanged.
  • This week East Coast asphalt barge prices moved up slightly, with flux barge prices flat.
  • Midwest barge and rail sales were higher. Rail availability is being limited by slow return of rail cars to supplier refineries.  Flux prices were steady, with June not yet in.
  • Many Midwest rack asphalt selling prices rise, with some mid-week price increases.
  • Gulf Coast asphalt and flux retail pricing was steady with assessments status quo.
  • The asphalt barge and flux barge price assessments are static on the Gulf Coast.
  • Rocky Mountain rack selling assessments firmed in some markets, with others steady.
  • Rockies wholesale prices for June increased on limited reports. Supply is noted as tight.
  • Both Pacific Northwest and California markets were flat. Alaska markets were higher.
  • In western Canada, retail markets were steady but wholesale markets were higher.
  • Quebec markets were at higher price levels this week. Ontario markets were status quo.
  • Oil prices were notably for all benchmark grades of crudes this week.
