  • Retail asphalt prices were up in some parts of the East Coast, with flux prices static.
  • This week East Coast asphalt barge prices rose, with flux barge prices unchanged.
  • Some Midwest barge sales reported at higher levels this week. Rail is steady, with May material committed.  Roofing flux prices were flat for May supply.
  • Midwest rack asphalt selling prices firm slightly in a few areas, with the rest steady.
  • Gulf Coast asphalt retail pricing was up in some areas, with flux rack prices steadfast.
  • The asphalt barge and flux barge prices are steady on the Gulf Coast.
  • Rocky Mountain rack selling assessments firm in some areas as markets remain strong.
  • Rockies wholesale prices remain steady, with supply limited, demand strong, and prices for June supply coming up for negotiation.
  • Both Pacific Northwest and California markets were flat. Alaska markets were higher.
  • In western Canada, both retail and wholesale markets were steady this week.
  • Quebec markets had higher posted prices. Ontario markets were status quo.
  • Oil prices were slightly higher for Brent and WTI crudes but was down for WCS oil.
