  • The Asphalt Institute held its Annual Meeting this week in San Diego.  It was well attended.
  • East Coast retail asphalt and flux prices were flat this week.    
  • Asphalt barge pricing firms, with flux prices assessed unchanged on the East Coast. 
  • Midwest retail selling prices held steady on thin trade.  Paving slowed due to poor weather.
  • Midwest wholesale asphalt and flux prices held at previously reported December levels.    
  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices are unchanged this week.     
  • Gulf Coast asphalt and flux barge pricing assessment are steady.
  • Rocky Mountain retail markets were mostly quiet this week.  Prices were mostly static.          
  • Rocky Mountain wholesale asphalt prices remained at the prior week’s range.    
  • West Coast asphalt price ranges are adjusted lower in parts of the Pacific Northwest, and California market prices eased lower this week for paving and flux.            
  • In western Canada, retail and wholesale base grade asphalt prices were steady this week.
  • Eastern Canada markets were flat this week both for Montreal and Toronto.
  • Oil prices were mixed this week. WTI and Brent crude prices went up, but WCS crude prices declined.
