  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices status quo for the week.
  • Asphalt and flux barge price ranges hold steady on the Gulf Coast.
  • Rocky Mountain area markets are status quo for both retail and wholesale asphalt.
  • West Coast retail prices steady, but some project bids were below current selling ranges.
  • Asphalt retail/posted prices in western Canada are flat. Alberta wholesale is unchanged.
  • Asphalt selling and posted prices decreased in both Ontario and Quebec.
  • Oil moves higher this week. June WTI ends at $46.21, up almost $2 for the week.
  • July Brent crude closes at $47.83 a bbl, up well over $2 this week.
  • June Western Canadian WCS crude climbs $2, to almost $34 a bbl FOB Alberta.
  • Wild fires continue in Alberta. It is unclear when tar sands production returns to normal.
