  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt prices soften in several locations, with flux pricing unmoved.
  • Asphalt barge prices are assessed stronger, with flux prices on the Gulf Coast steady.
  • Rockies retail ranges are steady, with cold/snow arriving late this week in some States.
  • Rocky Mountain wholesale prices are flat for April product.
  • West Coast markets are steady, but assessments slip in Oregon. Alaska’s Index declines.
  • Western and eastern Canada selling prices have weakened in most provinces.

  • Crude oil prices rise ahead of producers meeting in Qatar–May WTI closes over $40 despite falling back on Friday. May WTI ends at $40.40 a barrel, with June WTI at $41.75.
  • June Brent crude reached mid-$40’s before settling at $43.10 a barrel, up $1.17 this week.
  • May WCS rose to over $25 a bbl FOB Alberta, ($14.80 below May WTI).
