  • East Coast retail asphalt prices weaker in several areas, with flux prices unchanged.
  • Wholesale FOB East Coast asphalt prices streghtened, with delivered and flux prices flat.
  • Midwest retail prices were adjusted for various April price changes. Selling ranges changed.
  • Midwest wholesale asphalt and flux prices remain firm.
  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt prices ease in some locations, with flux pricing steadfast.
  • Asphalt and flux barge prices are assessed unmoved for the week on the Gulf Coast.
  • Rockies retail ranges eased in a few locations, but most areas were unchanged.
  • Rocky Mountain wholesale price range was status quo.
  • West Coast markets slip in some areas like the Pacific Northwest. Hawaii assessed lower.
  • Western Canada selling/posted prices weakened in most provinces.
  • Eastern Canada retail prices are flat. Posted prices are expected to resume April 12.
  • Crude oil price rose sharply—May WTI closed at $39.66 a bbl, up $3.03 vs. last week.
  • June Brent crude surged to $41.93 a bbl, up $3.27 vs. last week.
  • May WCS firmed a dollar, to just over $24 a bbl FOB Alberta, ($14.85 below May WTI).
