  • East Coast retail selling ranges for asphalt slip lower in most areas — flux unchanged.
  • Wholesale asphalt prices ease slightly, with flux prices steady on the East Coast.
  • Midwest wholesale prices are unchanged, but some retail selling ranges slip.
  • Gulf Coast retail assessments move lower in a few areas –flux prices are steady.
  • Gulf Coast area barge asphalt prices slip slightly lower – flux pricing unchanged.
  • Rocky Mountain prices are steady, except for a few retail areas.
  • Some West Coast selling ranges slip a bit, but other markets are status quo.
  • Western Canada retail markets were status quo–wholesale prices are in a narrower range.
  • Quebec selling prices are assessed in a lower, wider range–Ontario is assessed status quo.
  • May WTI crude rises $2.50, to $51.64, despite US oil production and inventories going up.
  • May Brent crude rose to $57.87 a bbl, up $2.92. Brent premium to WTI just over $6.
  • May Canadian WCS gains $3, nearing $40 a bbl FOB Alberta—or $11.70 under WTI.
