TradeWinds News: LNG cargo cancellations set to soar in June-October, Poten says

A large number of LNG cargoes are expected to be cancelled during the period from June and into October, according to shipbroker and consultant Poten & Partners.

Speaking in its fifth LNG weekly webinar entitled “2020 LNG Markets and Covid-19 – What happens next?”, Poten’s manager for short-term forecasting Kristen Holmquist said the company is cutting its US LNG supply outlook “quite aggressively” on the fallout from the global pandemic.
