OPIS: Venezuela PDVSA to Reduce Clean Products Exports

“Since the early 2000s, Venezuela’s oil refining operations have deteriorated significantly after a regime change and layoffs of experienced workers, and the situation is about to go from bad to worse over the next few years. The gap between Venezuelan oil products supply and demand is expected to narrow further over the next few years, and it will remove even more export potential, to levels as low as 100,000 b/d, according to a weekly market report issued by Poten & Partners.”
