We are still in the early innings of the new IMO rules and it is much too early to draw any definitive conclusions about the long-term implications of IMO 2020 on the shipping and the oil industry. However, as most of us have waited for this day to arrive with some sense of anticipation (or trepidation) we thought it made sense to scan the markets to take a preliminary look at what the post-IMO 2020 landscape looks like.
