  • East Coast retail asphalt prices eased lower in some areas, with flux pricing steady this week.
  • Wholesale asphalt and flux barge price assessments on the East Coast are unchanged.
  • Midwest wholesale barge deals were few. Prices were reported within the previous week’s range.  Rail supply was priced lower for some October material this week.  Roofing flux prices were steady.
  • Selling prices at Midwest racks were slipping lower in some areas of the region. Paving was active.
  • Gulf Coast rack asphalt prices were lower in some areas, with flux assessments stable this week.
  • Asphalt barge and rail pricing on the Gulf Coast firmed, with flux barge prices static.
  • Rockies rack markets were steady in some areas and lower in others.
  • Rockies wholesale asphalt prices fell sharply for October volumes, according to reports.
  • West Coast markets were flat for both Pacific Northwest and California locations.
  • In western Canada, both retail and wholesale markets were flat for the week.

  • Oil prices were mixed for benchmark grades. WTI and Brent crudes were down but WCS crude was up slightly.
