  • Many East Coast retail asphalt prices moved lower this week, with flux prices unchanged.
  • East Coast asphalt and flux barge assessments continue at previous levels across the region.
  • Midwest wholesale asphalt and flux prices were mostly steady on limited trade, after declining sharply in the prior weeks. Low Mississippi River system water levels are limiting barge traffic.
  • Midwest selling price assessments were steady this week. Cold, wet weather is forecast.
  • Gulf Coast asphalt retail price assessments ease in some areas, with flux retail prices flat.
  • Asphalt barge prices declined sharply on the Gulf Coast, with flux barge pricing status quo.
  • Rocky Mountain rack selling prices declined in many areas.
  • Rockies wholesale asphalt prices were flat. A potential rail strike was moved back to no earlier than December 4.
  • Pacific Northwest markets were steady. Alaska markets were down, other California areas were flat.
  • In western Canada, both retail and wholesale markets were unchanged for the week.
  • In eastern Canada, Quebec markets had lower prices this week. Ontario markets were flat.
  • Oil prices were down for all benchmark grades this week more than $2-3 a barrel.
