- Retail asphalt and flux prices rose across the East Coast this week.
- This week East Coast asphalt barge prices were flat, with flux barge prices rising.
- Midwest wholesale asphalt prices were mostly steady for May, with demand for product strong. However, roofing flux prices were reported at much higher levels for May supply.
- Midwest rack asphalt selling prices are assessed higher in almost all Midwest locations.
- Gulf Coast asphalt and roofing flux retail pricing increased for the week.
- The asphalt and flux barge range increased on the Gulf Coast.
- Rocky Mountain rack selling assessments jumped higher in some areas.
- Wholesale prices in the Rockies were firm. Demand is strong and supply remains tight.
- Some Pacific Northwest locations had higher prices. Southern California markets were slightly in lower price range. Northern California markets were flat.
- In western Canada, both retail and wholesale markets were status quo.
- Quebec markets had higher posted prices. Ontario markets were flat.
- Oil prices increased again this week, around $3-5 a barrel, for all benchmark grades.
