  • East Coast retail asphalt pricing declines in some areas, with flux pricing steady.
  • Some asphalt barge prices are lower on the East Coast, while all flux barge pricing is flat.   
  • Many Midwest asphalt retail prices declined, with flux retail prices steady for this week.
  • Wholesale asphalt markets assessed notably lower in the Midwest, with flux prices static.
  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt pricing decreases in several areas, with retail flux prices steadfast.
  • The barge price band for asphalt narrows on the Gulf Coast, while flux barge pricing is flat.
  • Arizona and New Mexico markets were lower this week. Other Rocky Mountain retail prices were steady, with activity mostly focused on warmer areas.
  • Rockies wholesale prices were in a lower range this week. Many refineries are still operating in lower capacity.
  • Markets were flat in Pacific Northwest. However, California markets were lower this week.          
  • In western Canada, retail prices were static. However, wholesale asphalt prices were down.
  • In Quebec asphalt posted price range was higher, but the selling range was static.
  • Ontario markets were status quo this week, with very limited activity occurring.
  • Oil prices went up this week for all benchmark grades, mostly due to smaller-than-expected oil inventory increase and the OPEC+/Russia production cut to become effective in May.
