  • Racks are mostly quiet in East Coast markets, but a few mid-Atlantic markets firmed a bit.
  • East Coast asphalt barge prices firmed, with a number of sales reported. Flux was steady. 
  • Prices in Midwest retail markets were stagnant, with cold weather and little activity reported.  
  • Midwest wholesale barge prices climbed higher this week, but rail and flux were steady.     
  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt prices were unchanged. Roofing flux was steady as well.       
  • A number of barge sales were reported on the Gulf Coast, with prices generally firming. Roofing flux prices were steady.
  • A few Rocky Mountain retail assessments are adjusted this week on reports, but activity is very limited. Cold weather and snowy conditions prevailed in areas for much of this week.        
  • Wholesale prices were steady in the Rocky Mountain region, but some refineries are hampered, and wholesale deliveries delayed by frigid conditions.
  • West Coast retail asphalt/flux prices were mostly steady, as snow hit areas of the region.            
  • In western Canada, retail and wholesale asphalt markets were steady this week.
  • Posted and selling asphalt prices increased in Montreal, but were unchanged in Toronto.
  • Oil prices eased slightly lower this week for all benchmark crude grades.
