  • East Coast wholesale asphalt prices increased this week, flux barge is unchanged.
  • Some Midwest rack prices were increased during the week in a number of States.
  • Wholesale markets were firmer this week, with assessments rising for barges and rail.
  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt price assessments are higher in some areas – wholesale steady.
  • Some Gulf Coast flux prices are in wider ranges, with lower prices reported this week.
  • Rockies selling ranges were mostly steady for this last full week of June.
  • West Coast prices were mostly unchanged this week.

  • Eastern Canada price ranges are holding steady, with activity picking up.
  • Crude oil prices moved lower this week, with August West Texas Int. crude (WTI) prices ending at $105.75 a bbl, down $1.51 for the week.
  • August Western Canadian Select (WCS) crude dropped $3, to $84 a bbl FOB. It traded at $21.55 a bbl under WTI for August.  .
  • August North Sea Brent oil ended the week at $113.29/bbl, down $1.52.
