  • Many East Coast retail and wholesale asphalt selling ranges move lower – markets active.
  • Some East Coast retail flux prices decline for the week.
  • Midwest retail prices were lowered in some locations this week. Others were mostly steady.
  • Wholesale barge deals were at lower prices this week in the Midwest—rail was unchanged.
  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux assessments declined in many areas, flat in others.
  • Gulf Coast area barge asphalt and flux prices are steady for the week, with active markets.
  • Rocky Mountain wholesale prices were in a broad range for May—depending on supplier.
  • Retail price assessed ranges eased lower for Arizona and New Mexico this week.
  • Selling ranges lowered in Hawaii and coastal Washington. North California firmed a bit.
  • Western Canada wholesale is assessed status quo for May—Selling prices are also steady.
  • Asphalt prices in Quebec are assessed in a lower range. Ontario selling prices are flat.
  • Oil prices were mixed. June WTI crude firmed 24 cents, to $59.39 a bbl this week.
  • June Brent eased 7 cents lower this week, to $66.39 a bbl. That’s $7 above WTI prices.
  • Canada sour crude was up $2, with WCS at ~ $51 a bbl FOB Alberta, only $8.40 under WTI.
