  • East Coast retail asphalt prices decline in many markets, with flux prices unchanged.
  • Wholesale asphalt and flux prices on the East Coast remain unchanged.
  • Midwest wholesale markets were flat—retail prices mostly steady, with only a few easing.
  • Gulf Coast retail assessments slip in some areas, with flux prices static.
  • Gulf Coast area barge asphalt and fulx ranges are unchanged for this week.
  • Prices reported lower in Arizona and New Mexico—most other Rockies areas were steady.
  • Rockies wholesale prices were unchanged.
  • A few California selling ranges ease lower, other West Coast markets are flat.
  • Western Canada markets are status quo—wholesale is assessed stable as well.
  • Quebec and Ontario asphalt selling prices are assessed flat, with limited activity noted.
  • Crude oil soars on Yemen fighting, then sells off on Friday. May WTI crude ends the week, at $48.87, up $2.30 a bbl.  US oil production rises and inventories hit record highs again.
  • May Western Can. Select (WCS) rises to $36 a bbl FOB Alberta–$12.75 under May WTI.
