November 19, 2025 The consultant and broker’s senior editor and analyst, Meredith Freeman, said North America leads the forecast growth, with an additional 212.6 mpta of LNG supply coming onstream by 2030, which will almost double current volumes. She said the market for LNG looks set to remain long into the late 2020s, pushing up the risk of oversupply and cargo cancellations during the 2027 to 2030 period. “Global supply is set to grow sharply over the next 20 years with an uncertain demand outlook,” she said.
