  • U.S. paving activity restarted Tuesday post the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
  • Retail asphalt and flux prices increased across East Coast locations to begin June.
  • East Coast asphalt barge prices are steady, with flux barge prices up this week.
  • Some Midwest barge prices reported at higher levels. Rail wholesale was firm, but mostly within the previous range.  Higher prices were noted for June rail supply.
  • Midwest rack asphalt selling prices continue to rise, with more price increases reported.
  • Gulf Coast asphalt and flux retail pricing moved higher across the region.
  • The asphalt barge and flux barge price assessments firmed on the Gulf Coast this week.
  • Rocky Mountain rack selling assessments headed higher post the holiday.
  • Rockies wholesale prices are adjusted slightly this week. Supply remains tight.
  • Pacific Northwest and California markets were higher. Hawaii markets were also up.
  • In western Canada, both retail and wholesale asphalt markets were higher.
  • Quebec markets had higher posted prices this week. Ontario markets were status quo.
  • Oil prices were up for all benchmark grades of crudes this week.
