Asphalt Weekly Monitor

• The rack activity on the East Coast remains subdued by poor weather, with pricing steady.
• East Coast asphalt and flux barge prices are maintaining last week’s levels.   
• Midwest asphalt/flux prices were mostly steady, with only a few range adjustments.    
• Midwest wholesale asphalt markets were active, with barge selling ranges narrowed. Rail supply was at steady prices and flux was unchanged.  Paving activity was minimal.            
• Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices hold steady, with poor weather this week.      
• Barge prices on the Gulf Coast continue as previously noted levels for asphalt and flux.
• Rocky Mountain retail and wholesale market price ranges were status quo.
• West Coast locations had steady prices, with scant winter rack activity in most areas.           
• Western Canada retail and wholesale asphalt markets were flat versus the previous week.
• Eastern Canada markets were steady this week for both Quebec and Ontario.
• Crude oil prices firmed more than a dollar per barrel, for all three benchmark grades.
