The Next African Giant?

Aug 29th, 2025:A bright future for oil production and exports from Namibia Africa has always been a prolific source of new oil discoveries. In West Africa, countries like Nigeria and Angola have been a mainstay of the international oil markets for decades. Others, like The Republic of the Congo, Ghana, Gabon, and Equatorial Guinea, are more recent additions to the energy landscape. Another country that has come up in conversations recently is Namibia. At the moment, Namibia, located on the west coast of Southern Africa, between Angola and South Africa, does not produce any oil, but a number of major offshore oil discoveries could change that over the next decade.
