  • East Coast asphalt and flux rack price assessments are all stable this week.
  • Some asphalt barge ranges narrow with flux barge pricing on the East Coast unchanged.
  • Midwest markets noted some higher prices for some sales of May wholesale asphalt, with most May prices yet to be reported. Flux markets were steady, with May prices expected this upcoming week.
  • Midwest rack prices were status quo for this last full week of April. Activity is slowly improving.
  • Gulf Coast rack asphalt and flux pricing is flat, with activity noted as good this week.
  • Gulf Coast asphalt and flux barge prices and asphalt and flux rail pricing are steady for the week.
  • Rocky Mountain rack prices were static for this week. Activity at most racks is slowly improving.
  • Rockies’ wholesale prices were also steady, with May prices to be reported next week.
  • In the West Coast, both Pacific Northwest and California market prices were within last week’s levels, with corrections made to last week’s price ranges in California markets.
  • Some West Coast prices were amended from last week’s Report, See page 2 and 23.
  • In western Canada, both retail and wholesale markets were steady.
  • In eastern Canada, Quebec markets were flat, but Ontario markets had lower price assessments.
  • Oil prices were lower for all benchmark grades this week, by more than $1 per barrel.
