Outages & Turnarounds

9 Feb 2018: According to the latest IEA Oil Market Report, global refinery crude throughput reached 82.2 million barrels per day (mb/d) in December 2017, some 500,000 b/d more than in December 2016. For 2017 as a whole, throughput averaged 80.8 mb/d, a solid 1.5 mb/d higher than the year before. The strongest growth came from the U.S. and China, the countries with the world’s largest refining capacity.
