  • East Coast retail asphalt and flux prices move lower in many areas.    
  • Wholesale asphalt and flux pricing moves down in most areas of the East Coast.
  • Some Midwest retail prices were reduced this week, but most selling ranges were steady.
  • Wholesale asphalt and flux prices eased mostly lower for August. Demand was strong.
  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux pricing slips lower in many areas to start August.   
  • The asphalt barge range firms, while flux barge prices decline on the Gulf Coast.
  • Rocky Mountain markets noted some lower wholesale prices and softer demand for it.
  • Paving demand was seasonal in the Rockies, with projects ongoing. Truck capacity is tight.
  • West Coast regional asphalt markets were mostly steady. Flux prices were mixed. 
  • Western Canada retail prices were flat. Wholesale asphalt prices are assessed lower.
  • Asphalt prices were unchanged in Ontario but were lower Montreal this week.
  • Crude prices declined this week for all benchmark grades around $1-2 per barrel.
