  • East Coast retail asphalt prices mixed this week, with flux prices steady.  
  • Wholesale asphalt barge prices went higher, with flux barges steady on the East Coast.
  • Midwest retail markets were mostly steady, awaiting better weather, but some locations firm.
  • Midwest wholesale barge and rail asphalt prices continue to firm. Flux was unchanged.    
  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices remain flat for the week.   
  • Wholesale asphalt prices rose this week for barges in the Gulf Coast, with flux prices flat.
  • Rocky Mountain racks stay mostly quiet, with prices steady, except for a few locations.  
  • Rockies wholesale asphalt assessment rises, as lower February prices end. An explosion  at Calumet’s Great Falls refinery this week had limited effect on operations, per reports.   
  • Some West Coast markets weaken, as wet weather stifles demand. Some flux prices slip.          
  • Western Canada asphalt retail prices are steady. Alberta wholesale prices rose for March material.
  • Eastern Canada selling and posted prices are steadfast at previous week reports.
  • Crude prices went slightly higher for most benchmark grades this week.
