LNG contract activity for the first seven months of this year remained supported by sales and purchase agreements (SPAs) done or negotiated mostly before the Feb. 28 start of the US-Iran war. The total volume of SPAs signed in January-July reached 40.2 MMt, 20.4% higher than the 33.3 MMt in the same period last year. This includes both primary and secondary SPAs.
