Lebanon Eyes LNG Imports For Southern Zahrani

Lebanon has turned the clock back 12 years, once again looking to LNG to help meet medium to long term fuel requirements in its chronically short power sector. The country is facing a debilitating  energy crisis, just as it did in the late 1990s when import plans were first proposed by a joint venture led by Elf Aquitaine, the French company acquired by Total in 2000.
