  • Racks remain mostly quiet in East Coast markets, but some firmer New England pricing.
  • East Coast asphalt barge prices narrowed. Flux retail and barges are steady on East Coast. 
  • Midwest retail racks were mostly quiet. Prices are unchanged for asphalt and flux.   
  • Midwest wholesale prices remain assessed at previous week levels, with February prices under negotiation.       
  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices are status quo for this week, with limited activity.      
  • Barge pricing on the Gulf Coast narrows for asphalt, with roofing flux prices steady.
  • Rocky Mountain retail assessments are unchanged, with winter conditions stifling activity.  
  • Wholesale prices were steady in the Rockies, with February prices being negotiated. Some wholesale deliveries have been delayed from refiners, due to cold weather conditions.   
  • Markets were mostly quiet in the West Coast region. Asphalt and flux prices were stable.            
  • In western Canada, retail and wholesale asphalt markets were static this week.
  • Base grade asphalt posted and selling prices were flat in both Montreal and Toronto.
  • Crude prices plunged, mostly caused by the global economy slowdown fears, due to reports of corona-virus spread around the world.
