  • East Coast retail asphalt and flux prices were mostly steady, with the Carolinas battered by Hurricane Florence late in the week.
  • East Coast asphalt/flux barge prices hold steady, with demand slowed by wet weather.
  • Midwest retail markets are assessed flat this week.
  • Midwest asphalt wholesale prices vary widely by supplier/location—rail prices get adjusted.
  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt prices firmer in parts of Alabama–steady elsewhere. Flux is flat.
  • The Gulf Coast asphalt and flux barge ranges were unchanged on thin reported trade.
  • Rockies retail markets were mostly unchanged, with assessments adjusted in Nevada.
  • Wholesale markets were steady in the Rocky Mountain region.
  • Most Pacific Northwest markets were steady this week, with California tight on supply.   
  • Selling price assessments increased in some Provinces of western Canada, while reported posted prices are unchanged.
  • Retail asphalt prices are flat in both Quebec and Ontario this week.
  • Crude oil prices moved higher this week for all benchmark grades except WCS crude oil.
