  • East Coast retail asphalt prices rise in many locations, with flux prices stable this week.
  • Barge prices for asphalt moved higher, as flux barge prices were flat on the East Coast.
  • In the Midwest, retail assessments continue to firm in some locations this week.
  • Midwest barge/rail wholesale prices are steady. Demand is strong – May supply committed.   
  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux pricing was steady for the week.
  • The Gulf Coast asphalt and flux barge ranges are unmoved for May supply.
  • Rockies retail price assessments firm in some areas. May wholesale prices are steady.   
  • West Coast asphalt markets were mostly steady, but a few selling price ranges rise.
  • Western Canada selling and posted prices are status quo this week. Wholesale is steady.
  • Selling prices are flat across eastern Canada. Posted prices are unchanged in Ontario, while reported posted prices increased in Quebec. MTQ held a tender.
  • Crude oil prices headed higher once again this week for all benchmark grades.
