AGL Seeks FSRU Proposals

14 December 2017:
Australia’s largest power producer, AGL Energy, has issued a request for proposal (RFP) for a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in what would become the country’s first LNG import project. AGL wants FSRU providers to submit their proposals for a 10-year time charter of a FSRU, with sendout and other related services starting in 2020. The company board would need to approve the time charter AGL is awaiting government approvals for the project, said to be timed for the third quarter of 2018.
