Condensates

Poten & Partners recently launched the 2012 edition of our study “Condensates in World Commerce” covering the period to 2020. This comes at a time when natural gas and LNG production continues to grow apace, especially East of Suez. In the West, non-conventional production of hydrocarbons, including condensate and natural gasoline, has taken many by surprise. Whether or not this production manifests itself as segregated, internationally traded condensate or not, it will have a significant impact on the supply of light hydrocarbons. Demand is expected to be driven by the need for crude oil diluent in the West and by growing demand for petchem feedstock in the East. What will be the new streams available and the new trades? How will pricing be affected? What opportunities and alternatives might exist for producers, end-users, traders, or shippers?
Condensates in World Commerce - 2012-2020
$20,000 per copy

Poten & Partners has launched in mid-2012 a new edition of our study Condensates in World Commerce. This edition comes at an interesting time for condensates. At current high oil prices, oil companies’ focus and money is very much upstream; on new oil projects, new gas projects, and, in the process, new condensate production. Condensate supply increases will be occurring in both Eastern and Western trading markets over the coming decade. What will be the new streams available and the new trades? How will pricing be affected? What opportunities and alternatives might exist for producers, end-users, traders, or shippers?
