Annual Review of Spot Fuel Oil Fixture Movements outlines worldwide trends in the transportation of residual fuel oil by tanker vessel class. Annual movements of fuel oil spot cargo and fixture counts for the last five years are examined to highlight both growing and waning trade routes. The underlying information is based on Poten’s proprietary spot fixture database. The report also analyses the top fuel oil cargo routes and the amount of fuel oil shipped on these routes per vessel class. The leading fuel oil spot charterers are ranked by the amount of cargo shipped and the number of reported spot market fixtures. Finally this supplemental report provides an annual freight cost analysis for several selected vessel sizes and by a popular trade.
