China – Driving Global Commerce and Tanker Trade builds upon Poten & Partners’ research team’s in-depth knowledge of the crude oil, refined products and seaborne transportation markets. Leveraging expertise in project development, chartering, refining and supply to create a comprehensive picture of Chinese demand going forward.

Poten & Partners’ research team is conducting an analysis of China’s changing refining landscape, exploration and production activities, and domestic consumption for key refined products. These fundamental factors will determine the country’s medium term oil balances that will ultimately drive tanker demand and shipbuilding requirements. A detailed medium term outlook through 2015 will be presented, along with a longer term scenario assessment for 2020.
