Trevor Bowers

Joined Poten & Partners in 2007 in the Marine Projects Group. Before joining Poten, Trevor was a Divisional Director at HSBC Shipping Services London where he was involved in various sale and purchase transactions and projects while building up a sizeable period portfolio in the tanker market across all sectors, 1996-2007. Prior to moving to London, Trevor worked for Wardley Shipping Services Ltd (Merchant Banking arm of HSBC Banking Group) based in Hong Kong, 1986-1996. While there, Trevor was promoted to Director in 1990 and his responsibilities covered sale & purchase and project work in both the dry cargo and tanker markets. Trevor's career in shipbroking started in 1983 at Clarksons as a trainee broker. Upon completing the graduate trainee course, he was positioned in the Tanker Department focusing on the Period and Project Desk, 1984-1986. Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers
