Peter Manning

Joined Poten in December 1998 in London as consultant with responsibility for developing Poten's activities in petrochemicals. Prior experience with Esso Chemical, Fawley project evaluation, 1967-69; European Chemical News, Editor 1971-76; Trichem Consultants, London, responsible for marketing studies, 1976-86. Managing Director CMAI Europe, London, producing single and multiclient studies on petrochemical markets, 1986-93. Set up Peter Manning Associates in 1993 to pursue cost-and-margins modeling of the global petrochemical industry; and from this platform helped establish Paradigm Industrial Group, providing on-line information and analytical tools for the petrochemical industry, 1994-98. Degree in Chemical Engineering, Nottingham University.
